The discussion titled “Results and Future Solutions of the Preparation Phase of the Billion Trees National Movement” was jointly organized on November 7, 2025 by the Office of the President of Mongolia, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Forest Agency, the Center for Freshwater Resources and Nature Conservation, and the Billion Trees NGO.
Representatives from government organizations, private sector entities that have pledged and actively participated in the “Billion Trees” national movement, and civil society organizations took part in the event. Participants discussed the results and experiences of the preparation phase implemented between 2021–2024, as well as the goals, policies, and implementation strategies for the sustainable continuation phase from 2025–2030.
Since the launch of the “Billion Trees” national movement, a total of 116.1 million trees have been planted and grown as of the spring planting season of 2025.
