COP17 Office of the National Committee, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and the "Billion Tree Movement" NGO successfully held a consultative meeting for civil society organizations in the “Zuvshiltsul” Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the framework of organizing the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.

During the meeting, participants were provided with information and exchanged views on topics including: registration for accreditation to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, experiences of registering as an accredited organization to the Convention, opportunities to register for side events in the Blue Zone of COP17, and the selection of the National Civil Society Coordinator for COP17.
